
Grover Benjamin McBride, 84, of Crane, Missouri was born on June 15, 1940 to Clyde and Agnes Dexter McBride and departed this life on January 12, 2025.
Ben attended Lone Star Grade school and Perry High school in Perry, Oklahoma. Grover was a member of the United States National Guard from 1956 to 1958 and a member if the United States Navy from 1958 to 1961.
Ben retired to the Crane, Missouri area around 30 years ago when he retired from his job as a heavy equipment operator. In his free time he loved fishing, riding his Harley, camping.
Preceding him in death were his parents, Clyde and Agnes McBride; two daughters, Tonya McBride and Tammy McBride and one stepdaughter, Shawna Murray.
Survivors include his significant other, Denise Murray of Crane, Missouri; one stepson, Roger Vanmeeter of Kansas City, Missouri; a sister, Sheryl Leach of Oklahoma; three grandchildren, Tony McBride, Tyson McBride and Tiffany Murray; four great grandchildren, Ben, LaRondon, Tru and Mila.
No services planned at this time, final disposition will be cremation. A celebration of life will be held in Perry, Oklahoma at a later time.
