William Robert “Bob “Hayes 76, Crane, Missouri was born May 25, 1946 in Springfield, Missouri to William Woodrow and Aileen Slaughter Hayes and departed this life December 17, 2022 in his home.
Bob was a lifelong resident of the area and a member of the Crane Presbyterian Church of Crane. He had served in the United States Army, he worked as a conductor for the Union Pacific Railroad and retired from the Labor Union 663. Bob also had received a Bachelor’s of Science in Business. He enjoyed gardening for many years fishing, quail and rabbit hunting. Bob also like to go to the casinos and eating out.
Preceding him in death were his parents; a son Billy Hayes and a brother, Rick Hayes.
Survivors include his wife, Mary of the home; two sons, Richard Hayes and wife Amber and Chris Hayes and wife Crystal all of Crane; daughter-in-law, Jennifer Hayes; six grandchildren, Dalton, Macy, Christian, Carter, Cammie and Collin; other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, December 21, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. in the First Baptist Church Crane, Missouri. Burial was in Crane Community Cemetery, Crane under the care of Westrip Funeral Home Crane.
