Bruce Bennett, 66, of Springfield, Missouri, passed away on September 3, 2025.

​He was born on January 1, 1959, in Kansas City, Kansas, to Sharon Bennett Munyan and Kenneth Bennett. Bruce graduated from Marshfield High School and went on to build a career as a Car Audio Installer and Automotive Electrical Technician. He was truly a jack of all trades who could fix anything for anyone, and he loved helping others whenever he could.

Bruce had a heart of gold and never knew a stranger. He was the life of the party, always ready with a smile, a laugh, and a helping hand. If he cooked dinner, you always knew it would be his favorite—hamburgers and potatoes with a big glass of milk on the side. He loved his daughter deeply and cherished his family. Bruce found joy in cars, dirt bikes, boats, days at the lake, and most of all, time spent with his daughter and grandbabies. His generous spirit, loyalty, and love for people touched countless lives.

​He is survived by his daughter, Trist’n Jansson, and her husband David; their children, Ember and Cruz; his stepdaughter, Amanda McDonald, and her husband Derrick and their children; his mother, Sharon Bennett Munyan, and her husband Dwain; his brothers, Scott and Rodney Bennett, and their families; along with many more family members and friends who loved him dearly.
Bruce was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Bennett; his grandmother, Ruth Asher; and Treva Pratt, the mother of his daughters.

A graveside service will be held on Sunday, September 14, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at Cape Fair Cemetery, 309 Cemetery Road, Cape Fair, Missouri. Family and friends are invited to attend and celebrate his life. Final disposition will be cremation under the care of Westrip Funeral Home Crane, Missouri.

Bruce will be remembered for his kindness, his ability to make friends wherever he went, and the way he always showed up when someone needed him. He leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and unforgettable memories.
