Camie Aynne Bishop passed away Thursday August 16th in Cox Hospital Branson MO following a brief illness. She was born August 5th 1968 in Kansas City MO the daughter of Dale Jackson and Charlene Letts Jackson. Displaying her stubborn streak at an early age she engaged in a battle of wills with her Granny Jack which resulted in her be called Boomerang which was shortened to Boomer a nickname that stuck with her through life.
A lifelong resident of the area Boomer attended kindergarten through second grade in Crane MO and graduated from Clever where she excelled in cheerleading, talking in class, and cruising in her 1965 Impala SS.
While she held various jobs and worked in several careers through the years she found her true calling when she became a personal assistant and caregiver for the home bound. Blessed with infectious optimism and always smiling she could brighten the darkest of days for her clients.
The highlight of her world however was her family, who would tell you she was the best mom to her daughters and the best Nanny to her grandson. Boomer was proceeded in death by her father Dale Jackson, her grand parents Loyd and Edith Jackson and Glen and Dollie Letts. She is survived by her daughters Macey Jackson Marionville MO, Quincey Bishop and Grandson Logan Pickering Aurora, MO. Mother Charlene Jackson Siblings Andrea Jackson, Tony and Glorinda Jackson, Danielle and Scott Harris. A special nephew and niece Ethan & Olivia. Several Aunts, Uncles, and way too many cousins to count. In addition she leaves countless friends who will miss her quick wit, sense of humor, and bright smile.
Boomer was saved at an early age and in past few years had reestablished her relationship with Christ without whom she could not have bore the pain of her cancer diagnosis and subsequent illness. While we mourn her absence from us we are assured she is free from pain and resting in the arms of Jesus. John 5:24
Services will be at Westrip Funeral Home Crane, MO. Visitation Friday August 23 from6:30pm -8:30pm. Funeral service Saturday August 24th 2:00pm. Cremation to follow under the care of Westrip Funeral Home, Crane.
