Carley Ann Andrus, age 80, passed away at her home in Otto Missouri, surrounded by her family October 3rd 2019.
She was born on March 6th 1939 in Ponce De Leon, Missouri She was the only child of Leo and Shirley Henry.  She graduated Galena High School early and went straight to college at Drury Completing a Masters in English at SMSU later.  She Married Kenneth Andrus, enjoying 59 years together.  And together they had two daughters.  They enjoyed sitting in the yard watching the peaceful life around them. She loved being a teacher, quilting and planting flowers. She also published a book, The wizard of Oto. 
      She was survived by her husband and care giver Kenneth Andrus.  Her daughters Dara Merritt and husband Steve of Aurora.  Annette Alexander and fiancé Dean Lyon of Crane. Her four Grandchildren, Clayton Merritt, Austin Alexander, Mica Alexander and Jesse Merritt. Her great grandchildren, Cadence Merritt, Jeston Merritt, Cainan Alexander, Lucas Hensley, Sylas Strickrodt, Marcus Strickrod, and Wyatt Merritt.
