Christine Irene Chastain, 74, Republic, Missouri was born September 19, 1949 in Peoria, Illinois to Tommy and June Young O'Dell and departed this life Saturday, January 6, 2024 at Mercy Hospital Springfield, Missouri.
Christine had been a resident of the area for many years and attended Faith Chapel in Crane, Missouri. She enjoyed family gatherings and watching her boys and grandchildren playing sports.
Preceding her in death were her parents, Tommy and June and a brother Gary O'Dell.
Survivors include her four boys, Scott Chastain and wife Stacy of Republic, Sean Chastain and wife Danielle of Crane, Shannon Chastain and wife Amy of Nixa, Missouri and Matt Chastain and wife Brandi of Republic; 13 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren other relatives and many friends.
A celebration of life was held Wednesday, January 10, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. in Westrip Funeral Home Crane, Missouri. Visitation was from 11:00 a.m until service time at 1:00 p.m. Final disposition was cremation with burial in Mars Hill Cemetery, Crane.
