Darrell Essary, 60, of Cape Fair passed away Wed. June 21, 2017 in Cox Medical Center South in Springfield.
He was born to Clyde and Lucille Jenkins Essary on March 9, 1957 in Aurora, MO. He was a superintendent for a construction company.
Survivors include 2 daughters, Heather Essary of Monett, MO. and Canda Garrett of Clinton, MO.; 2 step-daughters, Kelli Storm of Bartlesville, OK. and Farrah Harlow of Rogersville, MO.; 4 brothers, Jerry Essary of Hurley, MO., Larry Essary of CA., Earl Essary of Cape Fair, MO. and Troy Essary of Wheelerville, MO.; 2 sisters, Gayle Stringer of Mt. Vernon, MO. and Anita Leybra of Joplin, MO.; and 8 grandchildren, Taylor Hartman, Haley Hartman, Skyler Storm, Ashlynne Storm, Montana Rhodes, Dakota Rhodes, Jordan Rhodes and Peyton Rhodes.
He was preceded in death by his parents; 1 son, Darrell Max Essary; 2 brothers, Loyd Essary and William Essary; and 1 sister, Carolyn Curbow.
Funeral services were held Sun. June 25 in the Westrip Funeral Home. Burial was in Nolan Cemetery.
