David Keith Hahn was born October 3, 1954 to Electa Young in De Soto, Missouri.
He attended De Soto School graduating with the class of 1973.
In the spring of 1977 David joined the Merchant Marines, staying there until the fall of 1978.
David married Sandra Warren on May 15th, 1982 in De Soto.
Late summer of 1989 while working for Alvey Conveyors in St.Louis. David was sent to the Cassville plant to start the purchasing department.
He fell in love with the work and moved his family to Shell Knob in October the same year.
When Alvey closed their plant he took a job for Memco Inc. in Hollister where he became the Vice President of Operations.
Another move was made April 2002 to Elsey, Missouri to be closer to grandson.
David continued to work until 2013 when health issues forced him to retire.
David was preceded in death by parents Electa Young and Carroll Hahn, a daughter, Brenda Smith and an infant child.
He is survived by wife, Sandie; son-in-law, James Smith; Rich Shular and Keith (Vanessa) Hahn.
Grandchildren Alex Smith, Andrea Shular, Nick (Katie) Smith, Ciara Shular, Dravin Hahn, Colton Hahn, and Jewelya Hahn. One sister Kathy (David) Maddox, multiple great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
He enjoyed working on old cars, his Harley, fishing and using his tractor in Elsey.
David also enjoyed woodworking and made cremation burial boxes.
David was of the Catholic Faith and was a member of Holy family Church in Shell Knob.
Memorial services will be held at a later date.
Final disposition will be cremation under the care of Westrip Funeral Home Crane, Missouri
