Dennis Curry
Dennis Curry was born on November 9, 1942 in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania to Victor and Helen (Boone) Curry and departed this life on April 1, 2021 at his home in Cape Fair, Missouri at the age of 78.
Dennis was raised in Cambridge, Ohio and graduated from Cambridge High School in 1960. He joined the United States Navy after graduation and was submariner retiring in October 1980. Dennis had a Bachelor of Science in Vocational Education. He loved reading, stamp collecting, rocks and gems, fishing, listening to music, writing poetry and being with his family. Dennis was a beloved member and Bible teacher at First Baptist Church, Cape Fair.
Dennis was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Diane Mitchell. Dennis is survived by his wife, Mary Ann Curry of Cape Fair, two daughters, Sandra L. Curry of Marianna, Arkansas and Donna Womer (Richard) of Springfield, Missouri, one son, Chad Curry (Brenda) Cape Fair, two brothers, Robert Curry (Shlynn) of Hazel Green, Alabama and Tyrone Curry (MaryAnn) of New Braunfels, Texas, six grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
Final disposition is cremation under the care of Westrip Funeral Home, Crane, Missouri.
