Doris Mae Edmondson
Doris Mae Edmondson, 84, was born October 24, 1936 in Elsey, Missouri to Jimmie and Tiny Daugherty McKnight and departed this life January 17, 2021 in her home in Crane, Missouri surrounded by loved ones.
Doris was a lifelong resident of the area and a 1954 graduate of Crane High School. She had worked as a supervisor in the garment industry.
Doris loved to spend time with her family and cook dinner for them every Sunday. She liked to cook and take food to people in the community that were sick. In her spare time, she would pick out walnuts and sell them. Doris would help anyone and give them the shirt off her back. She was feisty and had a temper that only a few people ever saw, which was a good thing.
Doris was preceded in death by her parents, first husband Kenneth McCullough and her second husband Tommy Edmondson and her brother Gene McKnight and a son, Marty McCullough. She is survived by her son, Andy McCullough of Crane; two step-sons, Rick Edmondson of Yuma, Arizona and Orin Edmondson of Marionville, Missouri; son-in-law Tommy Evans of Clever, Missouri; two daughters, Cindy Evans of Springfield, Missouri and Georgetta Branstetter of Aurora, Missouri; one step-daughter, Patty Vanderhoof of Reavisville, Missouri; one sister, Ruby Hilton Smith of Galena, Missouri; grandchildren, Zac, Luke, Marty, Brandon and Zane; her great grandchildren, Coltin, Braylin and Kenson, other relatives and friends.
