
Doyle Lee Branstetter was born on November 13th 1936 in Galena, Mo and left this life on January 28th 2025 at the age of 88 years old.
Doyle was a lifelong resident of this area. Doyle was a carpenter off and on his whole life a mechanic, a welder and he worked at the shoe factory in Aurora for many years in Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railroad for 31 years probably one of the hardest jobs he had was to coach the women’s softball team called the foxy ladies. Doyle and Speedy always told us Branstetter’s have always been a jack of all trades and a master of none that’s how we like it!
Doyle married Janice Branstetter whom they had 3 children Jeff Branstetter of Cape Fair, Dean Branstetter and his wife Jeanie Branstetter of Aurora, and Tony Branstetter of Cape Fair and former daughter in law, Felicia Branstetter of Clever, Missouri. 5 grandchildren, Sasha Zavada, Elizabeth Pendergrass and husband Mike Pendergrass, Brooke Ellsworth and husband Corey Ellsworth, Emily Jones and husband Chris Jones and Eden Branstetter; 7 great grandchildren, Ezra and Kieren, Zavada, Austyn, Holden and Larkyn Pendergrass, and Jaxson and Raleigh Ellsworth.
Doyle is preceded in death by his parents, Doff and Ada Branstetter, and a brother, Speedy Branstetter
And is survived by his wife, Janice Branstetter and 1 sister, Shirley Jones, along with other family members and many dear friends.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 1, 2025 at 4:00 p.m. in Westrip Funeral Home Crane, Missouri with cremation to follow. Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. until service time at 4:00 p.m.
