Ernest Roland Stewart Jr. 85, Crane, Missouri was born December 18, 1935 in Galena, Missouri to Ernest Roland Stewart Sr, and Ina Lois Johnson Stewart and departed this life July 10, 20211 at Cox Medical South Springfield, Missouri.
            Ernie was a lifelong resident of the area and member of the Crane Bible Baptist Church; he also drove the church bus. He had worked as a truck driver for many years, driving for Gold Shield and Belmont Casket Companies and Fadlers produce company, at one time he had worked for Zenith and the shoe factory. Ernie had owned his own truck hauling milk. They also own a café in Crane. Ernie loved his family and farmed in his spare time. He served in the Army National Guard.
            Preceding him in death were his parents; a sister, Elaine Fisher; two granddaughters, Melissa and Christina Wells and a great grandson Noah Wells.
            Survivors include his wife Jean of the home; a son Ernest Roland Stewart III and wife Robin of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; daughter Deanna Joyce Wells of Crane, Missouri; a brother, Gary Stewart and wife Joyce of Willard, Missouri; a sister, Becky Lee of Springfield; 7 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandson, other relatives and friends.
            Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 15, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. in the Crane Bible Baptist Church. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery Crane under the care of Westrip Funeral Home, Crane, Missouri. Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until service time in the church
