Everett D. Batson, 84, Aurora, Missouri was born July 1, 1940 in Aurora to Herman and Helen Venitta Hardin Batson and departed this life May 30, 2025 at Mercy Hospital Springfield, Missouri.
Everett was a lifelong resident of the area and was a very strong out doors men. Early in his life he would fish and set trot lines. Loved to read about growing herbs, home remedies and self help books.
Preceding him in death were his parents, Herman and Helen and a brother, Ted Batson.
Survivors include his wife Betty; two step sons Donald Zimmerman of Aurora and David Zimmerman of the state of Florida; a step daughter, Darla Keener (Dale) of Galena, Missouri; two brothers, Jerry Batson (Debbie) and Ronnie Batson all of Aurora; a sister, DeEtta Phelps of Cassville, Missouri; four grandchildren, several great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. His loving dog Chiggers.
Visitation will be held, Thursday June 5, 2025 between the hours of 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. in the funeral home. Final disposition will be cremation under the care of Westrip Funeral Home, Crane, Missouri.
