Denzil Harold Hudson, 81, Crane, Missouri was born on July 5, 1939 in Halltown, Missouri to Oval and Tressa Earnhart Hudson and departed this life on July 2, 2021 surrounded by loved ones.
Denzil was a lifelong resident of the area and a member of the Sholten Church of Christ. He was a hard worker and was very tender hearted although he didn’t show it. Denzil was very frugal and was often kidded about being so tight. He loved fishing and was very patient and down to earth. He loved his family and was ready to go on at the end.
Denzil was preceded in death by his parents, a sister Marjorie Burcham and a granddaughter Emily Hudson. He is survived by his wife, Glendene, three sons Michael (Perrie) Hudson of Crane, Missouri, Jim (Deneen) Jenkins of Brookline, Missouri and Jon (Heather) Jenkins of Branson, Missouri; three daughters, Sue (Bill) Morrow of Ozark, Missouri, Donna (Denny) Wells of Marionville, Missouri and Mary (Bryan) May of Galena, Missouri, one niece, Sharon (John) Spitz of Springfield, Missouri and one nephew, Steve (Rena) Burcham of Crane, 18 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren, other relatives and many friends. Denzil will be mourned and missed by all who had the chance to know and love him.
Memorial services were held on Wednesday, July 7, 2021 at 7:00 p.m. in Westrip Funeral Home Crane, Missouri. Visitation were from 6:00 p.m. until service time. Final disposition is cremation under the care of Westrip Funeral Home.
