IDA MAE BOWLING CYPRET
Ida Mae went to her eternal home at the age of 94, on December 31, 2021. She was born on November 23, 1927 to Roy and Mae Cupp Bowling, Galena, MO. Ida Mae married Joel Cypret on April 25, 1944, and to this union 5 children were born David Cypret (Mary) of Hurley, Leamon Cypret of Crane, Richard Cypret (Ruby) of Crane, Harold Cypret (Debbie) of Alabama and Wanda Cypret Dunn (David) of Hurley Mo.
She is survived by a brother Charles Bowling (Ruby) of Crane, MO, 18 grandchildren, numerous great- grandchildren, great -great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 63 years, her father, mother, 2 brothers Gilbert and George and 2 sisters Maymee Lee and Thelma, a grandson Darin Cypret and daughter-in law Ann Johnson Cypret
Ida Mae was called into the ministry in 1961 and ordained in the Full Gospel Church in 1992. She loved Jesus and her church, working and preaching the gospel where she helped to win many souls to Christ. Ida Mae pastored several area churches and held revivals throughout the State of Missouri and was a faithful member of the Cave Springs Church where she earned perfect attendance for 14 years until her illness. She served the church by teaching Sunday School, playing her guitar and singing she helped with VBS and numerous other activities.
Ida Mae passed time included reading the word, mowing, making beautiful quilts and fishing. Her greatest desire in life was to see all her family and friends to accept Jesus and feel the joy she carried throughout her life. She loved her family and friends and she will be greatly missed by all.
She has fought a good fight, kept the faith and now she is walking on the streets of gold.
Services will be Tuesday at 10:00 am at Westrip funeral home with burial following at Short Cemetery in Hurley, Missouri.
