John Dale Wiley
John “Dale” Wiley, 49, of Crane passed away suddenly on March 20th 2021. Dale was born to Robert and Jeanelle Wiley on February 28th, 1972 and was a proud member of the Presbyterian church. He played baseball and was in the marching band at Crane High school before attending Washington University in St. Louis and subsequently law school at the University of Missouri.
Dale was well known for his many business ventures including founding Slewfoot records, the nonprofit Heros and Miracles, and many podcasts. Most of his time was spent as a foreclosure attorney in St. Louis, Kansas City, and southwest Missouri. His greatest joys were good music, humor, and seeing the St. Louis Blues win the Stanley Cup. He diligently worked toward his cause of “changing the world every day”.
He is survived by his parents, his sister and niece, Elizabeth and Esther Exley, and his three children Mary, Sara, and Matthew Wiley, as well as many friends.
A celebration of life will be held at Crane Presbyterian Church on Sunday, March 28th at 2:00 p.m. under the care of Westrip Funeral Home, Crane, Missouri.
