John Turnbull, 66, of Marionville died Thurs. Aug. 29, 2013 in Mercy Hospital in Springfield.
He was born to Abra and Lola Turnbull on May 7, 1947 in Twin Bridges, MO. He was a retired logger.
Survivors include his wife, Lois; 1 son, Johnny Turnbull of Verona; 5 daughters, Wanda Meinders and husband, Russ of Columbia and their children, Mackenzie and Savannah Meinders, Annette Turnbull of Rogersville, Bonnie Delk and husband, Jared of Clever, Carla Blair and husband, Carl of Lansford, N.D. and their son, Elliott, and Darla Turnbull of Mohall, N.D.; 5 brothers, James Turnbull and wife, Shirley of Billings, Bobby Turnbull of West Plains, Jerry Turnbull and wife, Tangula of West Plains, Clarence Turnbull and wife, Rhonda of Drury, MO. and Richard Turnbull and wife, Mary of Mtn. Grove; and 1 sister, Mary Ann Turnbull of West Plains.
He was preceded in death by his parents; 1 son, Kenneth Turnbull and 1 brother, Bill Turnbull.
Funeral services will be held Tues., Sept. 3 at 10:00 a.m. in the Buck Prairie Church under the care of Westrip Funeral Home. Burial will be in Marionville IOOF Cemetery.
Visitation will be held Mon. from 6-8 p.m. in the funeral home
