Jonathan Michael Gross, 35, Cape Fair, Missouri was born February 10, 1980 at Wichita, Kansas to Michael and Carol Cummings Gross and departed this life February 3, 2016 in Cox Medical Center South Springfield, Missouri.
Jonathan had been a resident of the area since 2001 and a member of the First Baptist Church of Cape Fair, Missouri. He loved to hunt, fish, build things and teach his sons how to do these things. Jonathan was a hard worker, a good father and husband.
Survivors include his wife, Rebekah of the home; his two sons, Sean and Evan Gross also of the home; mother, Carol Henderson of Abesville, Missouri; two brothers, Edward Powers and wife Sherrie of Galena, Missouri and Joe Powers and wife Dawn of Springfield; four nephews other relative and friends.
A memorial service will be Friday, February 12, 2016 at 7:00 p.m. at the First Baptist Church Cape Fair, Missouri. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. until service at 7:00 p.m. in the church. Cremation will be under the care of Westrip Funeral Home, Crane, Missouri.
