Judy A. Fortney
Judy was born April 28, 1943 and peacefully passed this life January 8, 2021.
She was the eldest of four children to Cecil and Ruth Stevens. She was preceded by the passing of her son, TeJohn, parents, sister, Donna Bradley and life-long companion, Francis. We can only imagine her joy in the loving reunion with those having gone before.
Judy is survived by daughter Tracey Quick (Nathan), daughter-in-law Chris Fortney, grandsons, Hunter Quick, Layton Fortney (Dystiny), Carson Fortney (Olivia) and Heath Quick, great-grandsons, Kastin and Rhyder and great-granddaughter, Sadie, brother Ron Stevens (Jane) and sister Janet Reel (Wayne) and numerous nephews, nieces and cousins.
Judy was a loving mother, and her children were blessed each day with her unwavering love and support. Her talent for doting on those she loved blossomed to its full potential with her grandsons. She was so proud and loved spending time with the boys. A game too loud, a playtime too rowdy or a snack too big was always found at Granny’s house.
The family would like to express sincere gratitude to the staff of Ozark Regional Healthcare in Crane, Sonshine Manor in Republic and Preferred Hospice for the loving and compassionate care shown to Judy. We will always be grateful.
Judy was a beloved mother and grandmother and will be forever missed.
