       Kenneth “Rusty” Andrus was born August 26, 1935 in Oto, Missouri to Jesse and Cora Mae Blades Andrus in passed away in the early morning hours on February 4, 2023 in his home.         
​       Rusty had been a lifelong resident of the area and worked as a machinist making auto parts. On March 11, 1961 he married Carley Henry in Arkansas.  Rusty loved being on his tractor, doing things in the yard and being with his family. He was a man a few words, but when he decided to tell a story they would all stop and listen to him. He had a very big heart and took great pride in his grandchildren and great grandchildren. They would always put a smile on his face. Kenneth was the last of his family to pass away.
        Preceding him in death were his parents and his wife, Carley on October 6, 2019.
       Survivors include two daughters, Dara Merritt and husband Steve of Aurora, Missouri and Annett Lyon and husband Dean of Crane; four grandchildren, Clayton and Jesse Merritt, and Austin and Mica Alexander; seven great grandchildren, Cadence, Jeston and Wyatt Merritt, Cainan Alexander, Lucas Hensley, Sylas and Marcus Strickrodt and Zayne Smith; other relatives and friends
       A celebration of life visitation was held Friday, February 10, 2023 from 5;00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. under the care of Westrip Funeral Home, Crane, Missouri. Final disposition will be cremation.
