Lawrence Ray Carter, 16, Galena, Missouri was born October 30, 2001 at Springfield, Missouri to Glenn and Melanie Eden Carter and departed this life September 24, 2018.
Lawrence lived life with exuberant joy. Always quick to share a smile, a laugh or a hug and would tell you he loved you. His favorite color was green and his favorite team was the Bulls. His favorite Bible verse was Philippians 4:13 I can do all things through Christ who Strengthens me. He loved his God, his family, his friends, his church and his girl, he would not put them in that order though. He told funny stories and would shared funny videos or just throw out one liners like "I Like Chickens," "Turn on the jets" or "Lets go Boys." He would scream for no reason, just to liven things up and you would always know he was in the room. He couldn't contain the joy within.
He loved his brother Robert and never complained when he tagged along. Lawrence would dance, and sing and he could dunk. Alot of you have video proof of all these things.
His mother said "he was a gift and I wouldn't trade the last 16 years for anything."
He is beautiful. He is Loved.
Preceding him in death were his grandfathers, Ray Eden and Ernest Carter; great grandparents, Ralph and Evelyn Mills, Robert Brown and J.D. Eden.
Survivors include his parents, Glenn and Melanie Carter; a brother, Robert Mills Carter; maternal grandmother Nancy Roof and husband Larry; paternal grandmother, Clarabelle Carter; great grandmothers, Nadine Eden and Joyce Brown other relatives and many friends.
