It is with heavy hearts and great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Leasa Ellen Kuhs on April 19, 2025.
Leasa was born on January 15, 1979, to Randy and Jennifer Springer of Crane, Mo. Leasa Graduated from Crane High School in 1997. She married Steve Kuhs, her High School sweetheart of 25 years, on September 11th, 1999. Together they had four beautiful kids: Wyatt Andrew, Sawyer Duane, Hayden Walker and Brook Nicole.
Leasa was an incredible daughter, wife, mother, sister, aunt and friend. She adored her family and never ended a conversation without “I love you”. She was her husband’s and kids’ biggest fan, always supporting their accomplishments. She enjoyed collecting family heirlooms, watching sunsets, taking pictures and hosting family gatherings. Leasa loved spending time with family and always making sure to snap a photo before being allowed to leave.
Leasa believed that Faith in Jesus and her family were all that mattered. Leasa’s favorite scripture is Mark 10:27 NIV “Jesus looked at them and said, with man this is impossible; but not with God. For all things are possible with God”.
Leasa’s legacy of faith, love, and strength will live in our hearts forever.
Leasa is survived by her husband Steve and her children Wyatt, Sawyer (Audrey Venable), Hayden and Brook;
Her parents, Randy and Jennifer Springer; Brother, Scott Springer and his son Brylen; “Mema” Frances Murray; Father-in-law Reggie Kuhs; Sister-in-law Elizabeth Fletcher (Cody) and their children, Rylie, Adalynn and Caleb; as well as many aunts, uncles and close friends.
Proceeding in death are her grandparents Lloyd and Dorothy Springer; Joe “Cotton” Murrray; and Mother-in-law Joyce Kuhs.
Funeral services will held Friday April 25, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. In the First Baptist Chucrh Crane, Missouri. Burial will be in the First Baptist Church Cemetery Crane, Missouri under the care of Westrip Funeral Home Crane, Missouri.
