Leo William Connelly, 47, Crane, Missouri was born November 22, 1976, in Osceola, Iowa to Paul John and Barbara Ann Howard Connelly and departed this life January 21, 2024, in his home.
Leo was a lifelong resident of the area and worked as a mechanic doing auto repair. He enjoyed building and riding off-road vehicles and building hot rod motors. He liked looking for antiques and displaying.
Preceding him in death were his mother, Barbara, paternal namesake grandfather, Leo William Connelly; a sister, Agnes (Aggie) Connelly.
Survivors include his son, Paul Connelly III (PJ), his father, Paul Connelly, and wife Liz of Crane; his paternal grandmother, Darlene of Iowa; his significant other, Nikki Washington; two brothers, Chris and wife Brandy Howard of Galena, Missouri, and Brian and wife Mollie Howard of Ozark Missouri. Sisters: Rose Johnson of Kirbyville Missouri, and Kaylee of Galena. Nephews Ryan Johnson, Chad Johnson. Eric Johnson, Tanner Howard, Jacob Howard, Jordan Connelly, Thomas Howard, and Josh Norton; nieces, Hailey Connelly, Kaydee Howard, Lilly Howard and Kendra Howard; two great nieces, Ezra Oldfield and Layne Johnson; a great nephew, Trypp Johnson other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services will be held on February 3, 2024, at 10:30 a.m. in Westrip Funeral Home Crane. Burial will be in Crane Community Cemetery Crane. Visitation will be on February 2, 2024, from 7:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
