Lonnie Dean Greenway, son of Bo Greenway and Lorene Grisham, was born on September 7th, 1950 and departed this life on June 18th, 2022.
Lonnie was born on September 7th, 1950. He was a hard worker that loved playing in the dirt. He drove a truck for 25 years and worked as an excavator from the time he was 16 years old. He carried an ornery grin, a soft chuckle and always had a good story to tell. He loved animals and babies, but there’s nothing he loved more than his family. If he wasn’t working you could find him at a truck pull or rocking his dog to sleep and enjoying his family. He will be missed dearly.
Lonnie was married to Susan King Greenway for 53 years and together they built a life they loved.
Survivors include: wife Susan King Greenway; son Jim and wife Amy Greenway, daughter Chrissy and husband Russell Johnson; grandchildren Kenna and husband Tanner Foster, Loni and husband Corey Eutsler, Ashlee and husband Gage Miers, Landri Johnson and fiancé Taylor Groves; great-grandchildren Emersyn Eutsler and arriving in September Gracelyn Eutsler and a host of other family and friends.
Lonnie was preceded in death by his parents Bo Greenway and Lorene Grisham, brother Roy Greenway, sister Shirley Greenway, grand-child baby Johnson, and great-grandchild Parker Miers.
Pallbearers are Kent Doucey, Andy McCullough, Tanner Foster, Corey Eutsler, Gage Miers, and Taylor Groves.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, June 23, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. in the Crane First Baptist Church Crane, Missouri. Burial will be in Bowling Chapel Cemetery Crane. Visitation will be Wednesday June 22, 2022 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. in Westrip Funeral Home Crane.
