The celebration of life & visitation for Lorene M Woodward, will be held on Sunday, June 30, 2024 from 2:00 p.m. Until 4:00 p.m. in Westrip Funeral Home Crane, Missouri. Final disposition will be cremation.
Lorene M. Dill, daughter of Bert and Clara (Kraig) Dill was born September 17, 1935 near Crete, North Dakota. She was united in marriage to Doyle Woodward, August 2, 1954. They moved to Crane, Missouri where they made their home for many years. Lorene was an avid baker, card player, and enjoyed tending to her flowers. Lorene will be remembered for her friendliness, humor, and care for others. If you were at Lorene’s house you were served a variety of treats. She always had some baked goodies for anyone who entered the house. Lorene worked for Cal Gas/Town and Country for many years and the remaining years before retirement she worked for FIVE STAR Manufacturing. Her last residence was the Township Senior Living where she met many new friends. She was known there as the “welcoming committee” for new incoming residents. She made everyone feel comfortable and always had a way to brighten their day.
She is survived by her three children: James (Jim) Woodward (Nancy), Crane, MO: Jolene Olson (Stuart), Alexandria, MN; Jeanette Brown (Dale), Clever, MO; 8 grandchildren: Nicole (Steve) Mayne; Dustin (Sarah) Woodward; Cody (Nicole) Woodward; Jennifer Rook; Janell (Brett) Williams; Jill (Sam) Syvrud; Jessica Brown; Melissa Brown: 14 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Doyle Woodward, twin sister, 2 brothers, and eldest sister.
