Margie Ann (Bond) Clark of Hurley, Missouri passed away Wednesday, March 21, 2018 at the age 81 at her home surrounded by her family.
Margie was born January 31, 1937 to Norman and Louella (Grisham) Bond of Hurley. On November 2, 1956 Margie and Duane were united in marriage, together they shared over 58 years before Duane's passing in 2015.
Margie lived her life a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She graduated from Hurley High School and was a member of the Hurley Community Baptist Church. Margie was raised and saved while going to Shiloh Baptist earlier in life. She had spent her life working the family farm and her love for the land and her animals was passed down though out her family. Margie loved cooking and more importantly the family who would gather around at meal time. Never did any of her babies leave without a treat in hand. She also worked for Wal-Mart for a number of years before retiring.
Margie is preceded in death by her parents, Norman and Louella (Grisham) Bond; her loving husband Duane; son, Mike Clark and a brother, Bill Bond.
She is survived by her daughter, Regina and husband David Elkins of Hurley and her grandchildren, Jason (Dawn) Clark of Hurley, Stephanie (Travis) Kramme of Owensville, Missouri, Heather (Dusty) Hall of Hurley, Kristen Hardin of Clever, Missouri, Cody (Tiffany) Elkins of Marshfield, Missouri and Lindy Elkins (Scott Hilton) of Crane, Missouri; her great grandchildren, Evan, Rylan, Mason, Paige, Kobe, Dawson, Ethan, Wyatt, Westin, Samantha, Owen, Tyler, Kynslee and Byndi, Hailey and Lexi and Kaydence; a brother-in-law, Cecil Clark of Hurley; a sister-in-law Nita Borden of Joplin, Missouri; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be Saturday, March 24, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at Westrip Funeral Home Crane, Missouri. Burial will be at Short Cemetery, Hurley, Missouri. Visitation will be Friday, March 23, 2018 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
