Mary Lou Baker, 69, Crane, Missouri was born August 28, 1953 in Aurora, Missouri to Rudolph (Pete) and Beverly Austin and departed this life January 9, 2023 in her home.
Mary had been a lifelong resident of the area had been married to Charlie Baker on March 29, 1974, to the union there was born a daughter, Elizabeth Lynn Baker. She was a hard-working woman and throughout her life had worked at many jobs. Mary had worked in the garment factory, a care taker/ house keeper, farm hand and at the grocery store. She enjoyed going to garage sales, listening to good music and helping those in need.
Preceding her in death were here parents; her husband, Charlie Baker; sister, Sue DeFoore; brother, Ray Austin; grandson, Jacob Baker; nephew, John DeFoore and a niece Rashelle Austin.
Survivors include a daughter, Elizabeth Drewry and husband Mike of Hollister, Missouri; two granddaughters, Michaela Crosby and husband Taylor of Reeds Spring, Missouri and Olivia Drewry of Hollister; grandson, Sean Drewry of Knoxville, Tennessee; two great grandchildren, Rhett and Lila Crosby of Reeds Spring; a brother, Frank Austin and wife Tami of Galena, Missouri; a sister, Nancy Eraas of Crane; six nieces and one nephew other relative and friends.
A Celebration will be held Sunday January 15, 2023 at 4:00 p.m. in Westrip Funeral Home Crane. Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. until service time at 4:00 p.m. Final disposition is cremation.
