Nancy Lou Merritt Weaver Cutbirth, 85 years old of Monett, Missouri (Lacoba Homes) passed away on Sunday, August 18, 2024.
Nancy was born February 21, 1939, in Chillicothe, Missouri to Loren T. and Vonnie J. Merritt.
She was a lifelong resident of this area, the owner and operator of Cutbirth Garments in Bridgeport, Missouri.
She enjoyed family get togethers and time with her great grandkids. At the end of each year, her love for making candies was something that everyone enjoyed and looked forward to eating. She enjoyed sewing of all kinds.
She is proceeded in death by her parents; her first husband, Jimmie D. Weaver and her second husband, Jerry L. Cutbirth; two sisters, Ora Johnson, and Drucilla (Tootsie) Wheeler; two brothers, Rolla and Stanley Merritt and a host of family members.
She is survived by two daughters, Debbie L. (Rickie) Jones and Elizabeth “Liz” Weaver Dean; Five grandchildren, Nineteen great grandchildren and six great-great grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held Thursday, August 22, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. in the Smart Cemetery Billings, Missouri.
