Norman Ray Smith,72, Galena, Missouri was born January 29, 1950 in Cape Fair, Missouri to George and Ruth Carr Smith and departed this life December 4, 2022.
Norman was a lifelong resident of the area and had served in the National Guard. He had worked as an Engineer (Train Driver) for the BNSF Railroad before retiring. Norman enjoyed working on his farm, his animals and watching Gun Smoke.
Survivors include his wife, Jane of the home; his mother Ruth of Cape Fair; two sons, Chris Smith and wife Sharon of Cape Fair and Cade Smith of Galena; a daughter, Courtney Smith of Springfield, Missouri; a brother, Jerry Smith of Portland, Oregon a grandchild, Zoey Smith other relatives and friends.
Private family graveside services were held Friday, December 9, 2022.
