Pearl Hillman
Pearl Hillman, 95,Crane, Missouri Passed away Friday, August 23, 2013 at
Riverview Manor in Ozark, Missouri. She was born May 28, 1918 to Wesley and
Stella Hilton in Osa, Missouri.
Pearl was married to Joe V. Hillman on December 30, 1939 and lived in
Crane where she owned and operated a hair salon until her retirement.
Pearl was a devoted and lifelong member of the First Baptist Church in
Crane. She was a member of the Eastern Star and enjoyed cooking, gardening and
spending time with her family. She will be missed by all who knew and loved
her.
She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents; two sisters, Lois
Hilton and Lera Wilks and her twin brother Thomas Hilton.
Survivors include her daughter Betty Bonness (Don) of Crane; son, Bob
Hillman (Judy) of Springfield, Missouri; a sister in law, Billie Scott of
Warsaw, Missouri; grandchildren, Melanie Edwards of Springfield, Rob Edwards
(Tonya) of Crane, Amy Wildforster (Kane), Mary Hogan (Bud) and Lori Hillman all
of Springfield; eight great grandchildren and five great great
grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, August 26, 2013 at the
First Baptist Church in Crane. Burial will follow in Osa Cemetery Crane under
the care of Westrip Funeral Home Crane. Visitation will be a 1:00 p.m. prior to
the service at the church.
In lieu of flowers memorial contribution may be made to the First Baptist
Church Crane, Missouri.
