Robert Lowell Vinsand, 81, Cape Fair, Missouri was born July 16, 1940 in Badger, Iowa to Lawrences Newton and Magdeline Altman Vinsand and departed this life December 22, 2021 in his home.
Robert had lived in the area for the past 20 years and was a member of the Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Springfield, Missouri. Robert worked as an Electrical Engineer for IBM before retiring. Early in his life he was a private pilot, enjoyed wood working, model airplanes and volunteering at his church.
Robert was preceded in death by his wife Kay; his parents; a sister, Linda Vinsand and a brother, Marvin Vinsand.
Survivors include four sons, Clifford Allen Ross and wife Stephanie of Texas, Brian Gerome Ross and wife Jodi of Minnesota, Paul Vinsand and wife Tracey of Missouri and Daniel Vinsand and wife of Pennsylvania; a daughter, Lorrie Meyers and husband Michael of Colorado; a sister, Marlene Knutson and husband Ken of Florida; eleven grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren other relatives and friend.
Final disposition will be cremation under the care of Westrip Funeral Home, Crane, Missouri.
