Yvonne Rae Zinker, 78, Galena, Missouri was born June 24, 1944 in Joliet, Illinois to Kenneth and Edna (Bettenhausen) Brown and departed this life January 16, 2023 at her home in Galena, Missouri.
Yvonne had lived in the area since 1975 coming from Illinois and was of the Catholic faith and member of the Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Aurora, Missouri. She enjoyed horseback riding, clogging and fishing. She was talented at sewing and quilting. She was a loving mother and enjoyed watching her grandchildren play sports.
Proceeding her in death was her husband, Frank Zinker, her parents, a son, Dana Sanchez, two brothers, Dale Brown and Barry Brown, two sisters, Diane Johnson and Donna Bettenhausen.
Survivors include daughter Christina (Colby) Mahan, Hartville, MO, son Steve Sanchez, Galena, MO, one brother, Dean Brown, Illinois, four sisters, Joan Troha, Alabama, Marsha (Curtis) Dees, Illinois, Marla Cahill, Missouri, and Kathleen Gordon. Grandchildren Zane Mahan, Cody Mahan, Justeen Seelye, Wyatt Mahan and Steven Richard Sanchez, great grandchildren Gatlin, Ava, and Grayson Mahan.
