Arlene Lunsford
Arlene Lunsford, 86, Marionville, Missouri was born December 6, 1926 in
Evans Falls, Pennsylvania to Earl and Linda Root Hawley and departed this life
October 11, 2013 in Springfield, Missouri.
Arlene had been a resident
of the area for the past 19 years coming from Oklahoma. She had worked for IBM
and attended church at the Aurora Baptist Temple in Aurora, Missouri. She loved to crochet and taking care of
her animals. Arlene was a very good cook and enjoyed being in her flower garden,
playing card and dominoes were some other things she enjoyed.
Survivors include her husband, Dalton of the home; a daughter, Kathleen
Rose Chapman of New York; two sons, Walter Bruce Gates and wife Mary Ellen and
Gary William Gates all of New York; eight grandchildren, several great
grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be Monday, October 14, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. in the
Aurora Baptist Temple Aurora, Missouri. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until
services time at 10:00 a.m. in the church. Burial will be Tuesday, October 15,
2013 in Grandview Cemetery, Kaw City, Oklahoma under the care of Westrip Funeral
Home Crane, Missouri.
