Billy D. Raymond
Billy D. Raymond, 71, Hurley, Missouri was born March 13, 1941 in
Elsey, Missouri to Dave and Mable Tucker Raymond and departed this life February
21, 2013 in his home.
Billy had been a lifelong resident of the area and was a retired factory
worker. He loved to fish, garden and can the things that he had grown. Billy
attended the Community Baptist Church in Hurley. He would lend a helping hand to
anyone that needed it and enjoyed living the country
life.
Billy was one of seventeen children and was preceded by his parents;
eleven siblings, Reitha Pendergrass, Eula Raymond, twin still born boys, Iva
Tichenor Ragain, John Raymond Katherine Raymond, Junior Raymond Jessie Raymond,
Dennis Raymond and Clifford Raymond.
Survivors include his wife Phyllis; special heart adopted kids, Alicia
Ralston, Bryceton and Collin, Jessica and Landon Flood, Juretta Tichenor and
Austin Henry, they were his pride and joy; a brother, Leo Raymond of Burns,
Oregon; four sisters, Gladys Reavis of Crane, Missouri, Lela Bowling of
Oroville, California, Betty Henry of Crane and Barbara Holliday of Clever,
Missouri.
Graveside funeral services will be Sunday, February 24, 2013 at 2:00 p.m.
in Short Cemetery Hurley, Missouri under the care of Westrip Funeral Home,
Crane, Missouri.
