Charles Halbert Dingman III
Charles Halbert Dingman III, 88, Cape Fair, Missouri was born February 6,
1925 in Kansas City, Missouri to Charles Halbert Dingman and Ethel Robinson
Dingman and departed this life October 20, 2013 in the Mt. Vernon Veterans Home
in Mt. Vernon, Missouri.
Charles had married Martha Hembree on May 25, 1946 in Columbus, Kansas
and they had made their home in Cape Fair for the past 30 years coming from
Springfield, Missouri. He had work as a diesel foreman for the Frisco Burlington
Northern Railroad. Charles first become a member of the East Avenue Baptist
Church in Springfield and later at the First Baptist Church of Cape Fair.
Survivors include his wife, Martha of the home; a son John Dingman and
wife Linda of Cape Fair; three
grandchildren, Becky Shortt, Jessica Kutner and Chris Dingman; two great
grandchildren, Jordan Shortt and Brooks Dingman, other relative and
friends.
Funeral services will be Thursday, October 24, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. in
Westrip Funeral Home, Crane, Missouri with burial in Cape Fair Cemetery, Cape
Fair, Missouri. Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until service time at 2:00
p.m.
