Frieda Ludwig, 73, Crane, Missouri was born October 18, 1940 in Hootentown, Missouri to Norman Andrus and Pauline (Andrus) Williams and departed this life June 25 2014 in Mercy Hospital Springfield, Missouri from a heart condition.
Frieda married William Ludwig on October 17, 1966 In the Galena Community Church by the reverend Hugh Higgs. She had worked at the Great Western Meat Company in Republic, Missouri for more than 20 years and for Stocker Insurance in Republic for several years. After 30 years Frieda retired to stay at home. She and Bill moved to Crane in 2008 and still reside there.
She was preceded to heaven by her parents.
Survivors include her husband, Bill of the home; brother, Dale Andrus and wife Betty (Wells) of Aurora, Missouri; sister, Judy Tichenor and husband Jerry F. of Republic; a niece, Toni Andrus of Aurora; three nephews, Darren Andrus of Memphis, Tennessee, Jeff Tichenor of Republic and Jerry Lynn Tichenor of Rolla, Missouri; four great nieces, Alli, Chloe and Jennifer Andrus of Memphis and Madison Tichenor of Republic.
Graveside services and interment will be in the Missouri Veterans Cemetery Springfield, Missouri under the care of Westrip Funeral Home, Crane.
