Glen Alan Hancock, 67, Clever, Missouri was born September 11, 1947 in Aurora, Missouri to Oscar Kenneth Hancock and Betty Jo Russell Hancock and departed this life Tuesday, May 5, 2015 in his home.
Glen had been a lifelong resident of the area and worked as an electrician for the City of Springfield, Missouri. Glen proudly served in the United States Army for over 40 years and retired as a Lieutenant Colonel on September 11, 2007.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and his former wife and mother of his 3 girls, Claudia Hackley.
Survivors include three daughters, Marni Gold of Pleasant Hope, Missouri, Rachel Powell of Republic, Missouri and Ashley Hancock of Dickson, Tennessee; two brothers, Kenneth Hancock of Clever and Gregory L. Hancock of Marionville, Missouri; two sisters, Judy Burke and Jennifer Boyd; four grandchildren other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be Saturday, May 9, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. in Westrip Funeral Home, Crane, Missouri. Burial will be in Mars Hill Cemetery, Crane with full military honors. Visitation will be Saturday, May 9 2015 from 1:00 p.m. until service time at 2:00 p.m.
