James had been a lifelong resident of the area and was a factory worker.
Proceeding him death were his parents, a sister, Nancy Carnelison and a brother Leon Carnelison.
Survivors include his wife, Wanda Sue Carnelison; a son, Bill Carnelison and wife Miranda of Reeds Spring, Missouri; two daughters, Kari Phipps and husband Mike of Ozark, Missouri and Peni Rennaker and husband Aaron of Branson, Missouri; two brothers, John Carnelison and wife Martha and Charles Carnelison and wife Mary all of Springfield, Missouri; a sister, Marcella Hoaglin of Springfield; eight grandchildren, nine great grandchildren other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be Friday, July 3, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at the Crane Fundamental Methodist Church Crane, Missouri. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time at 11:00 a.m. in the church. Burial will be in Galena Community Cemetery Galena, Missouri under the Care of Westrip Funeral Home Crane, Missouri.
