Orville Ralph May Jr. 90, Cape Fair, Missouri was born July 27, 1922 in
Galena, Missouri to Orville Ralph May Sr. and Nellie Wildman May and departed
this life Sunday, March 10, 2013 in his home.
Orville had been a lifelong resident of the area and a charter member of
the Flat Creek Baptist Church of Cape Fair. He owned and operated a grocery
store from 1950 until 1983. He had been a signalman in the United States Coast
Guard.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Phyllis
McKnight.
Survivors include his wife, Mary of the home; three sons, Greg and wife
Norma, Roger and wife Mary and Mike; 6 grandchildren, Chris, Alicia, James,
Cindy, Leigha, and Skyler; a granddaughter-in-law, Melissa May; 4 step
grandchildren, Travis Campbell, Adam Campbell and wife Kali, Rochelle Bevelot
and Steffen Sandgren; 3 step great
grandchildren, Rayleigh Bevelot and Brian and Keegan Sandgren; 2 brothers,
Dallas May and wife Imogene and Dennis May and wife Wilma; several nephews and
nieces.
Funeral service will be Thursday, March 14, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. in Westrip
Funeral Home Crane, Missouri. Burial will be in Cape Fair Cemetery Cape Fair,
Missouri under the care of Westrip Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 6:00
p.m. until 8;00 p.m. Wednesday, March 13, 2013 in the funeral
home.
