Pauline Gipson, 84, Republic, Missouri formerly of Crane, Missouri was born January 13, 1937 in Marionville, Missouri to Paul and Maud Wolf Kastendieck and departed this life December 12, 2021 at the Ozark Methodist Manor Marionville, Missouri.
Pauline was a lifelong resident of the area and a long-time member of the Crane Presbyterian Church. She received Bachelor degree from Missouri State University, her Masters degree and Special Education degrees from Drury University. Pauline had taught in the Crane School System for over 30 years before her retirement. She was a seamstress, a great cook and loved to travel. She traveled to 34 counties and all 50 States. She enjoyed going to Broadway shows and gardening.
Preceding her in death were her parents, a brother, Raymond Eugene Kastendieck; a sister, Doris Elaine McCully.
Survivors include her husband Jerry of the home; a daughter, Karen Alderson of Shawnee, Kansas; two sons, Kent Gipson of Kansas City, Missouri and Kevin Gipson and wife Linda of Springfield, Missouri three grandchildren, Kristen Alderson, Stuart and wife Jessica Gipson and Samuel Gipson; two great grandchildren, Harper and Josiah Gipson, other relatives and friends.
Pauline will be mourned and missed by all who had the chance know and love her.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 18, 2921 at 11:00 a.m. in Westrip Funeral Home, Crane, Missouri. Burial will follow at Crane Community Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until Services time at 11:00 a.m.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Jude’s in care of the funeral home.
