Richard Eugene King
Richard Eugene King, 52, Springfield, Missouri was born April 17, 1963 in Rolla, Missouri to Everett Eugene and Judy Mae Brown King and departed this life July 6, 2015.
Richard had lived in the area for past 22 years coming from Rolla. He had worked as a factory worker building playground equipment. Watching Cardinal baseball and the Dallas Cowboys, along with fishing and camping were things he enjoyed. Richard also collected coins, baseball and football items. He loved his family and helping others in any way he could and talking about the Bible, were in his younger days friends called him the Preacher Man.
Preceding him in death were his father and a bother Marvin Lewis King.
Survivors include his wife, Judy; mother Judy Thompson of Springfield; daughter, Montaza King of Aurora, Missouri; two brothers, Bobby Lee Wheeling of Gideon, Missouri and Billy King of Springfield; a granddaughter Anissa Rylee King other relatives and friends.
Graveside services will be Friday July 10, 2015 at 3:00 p.m. in Crane Community Cemetery, Crane, Missouri under the care of Westrip Funeral Home Crane, Missouri. Visitation will be from 1:30 p.m. until 2:30 p.m. in the funeral prior to the service.
