Edward Joseph Tonellato 74, Galena, Missouri was born March 1, 1938 in Springfield, Illinois to Alfred and Edna Somerfield Tonellato and departed this life Friday, February 1, 2012 in his home.
Ed had lived in the area for the past 8 years moving here from Springfield, Illinois. He was a member of the Anchor Boat Club and member of the Galena Community Church Board. Ed and his wife Bonnie owned and operated TeSpazio's Cafe.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Vivian Mitts Tonellato, parents and a sister, Virginia "Ginger" Ray.
Survivors include his wife, Bonnie of the home; two daughters, Charlotte Denton of Houston, Texas and Lisa Tonellato of Galena; sisters, Alberta "Bertie" McCray of Springfield, Illinois and Alfreda Shore of St. Joseph, Illinois; grandchildren, Marcie Denton of Baton Rouge, Louisiana , Kyle Denton of Houston, Texas and Chloe Tonellato of Galena, Missouri; his boys, Buddy, Gordo and Ripley. Ed will be loved and missed by all.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, February 5, 2013 at 7:00 p.m. in Westrip Funeral Home Crane, Missouri. Visitation is from 5:00 p.m. until service time at 7:00 p.m.
Cremation will follow under the care of Westrip Funeral Home.
